Change Password

If you have activated security for Computerize Your Assets, you must be aware that each user in the security file must maintain their own passwords. This is accomplished by accessing the "Change My Password" menu choice from the main menu. Each user is totally responsible for their own password and there is no function or procedure available that will disclose anyone's password.

Immediately after adding a someone to the security file you need to have that person set there password. Follow these steps to accomplish this:

1.	Close Computerize Your Assets

2.	Execute Computerize Your Assets and have the new user log in. REMINDER The password for the new user will initially be the same as the Login Code.

3.	Click on "Change My Password" from the main menu.

As you can see from the example below, you must first enter your existing password to assure the system you are authorized to make this change. Next, type in your new password and finally, confirm the new password to eliminate the possibilities of typos.
