Report Destination Options
In all instances your reports will be sent to the previewer. You can select which pages you wish to document and the destination for the output. ( See Example ). Listed below are the available choices and an explanation of how they are used.
Printer
| • | The results of the report will be sent to the printer of your choice. |
PDF (Portable Document Format)
| • | The results of the report will be created as a PDF document on your hard drive. You will be asked to furnish a drive and folder location as well as a name for the file. The PDF format is the file technology of Adobe and anyone can download a FREE copy of there Acrobat Reader to open and display the contents of the PDF files. This an excellent choice for those that wish to produce a report that can be stored on an external storage device, such as a CD Rom, for storage and viewing at a later date and from virtually any computer in the world that is using Windows as an operating system. HTML
| • | The results of the report will be created as an HTML document on your hard drive. You will be asked to furnish a drive and folder location as well as a name for the file. An HTML document can be viewed using your web browser which also makes it an excellent choice for off site storage on an external storage device. |
